The company has been planning to enter the EV market with hybrid cars keeping the buying perspective of Indian customers in mind. The brand is one of the biggest automakers in the Country and the company knows well how to offer affordable cars with low maintenance costs.
Maruti Suzuki has been testing this EV and they are deciding to launch an all-electric version vehicle in India to move towards electric mobility.


Tesla Model 3:

It has been considered as one of the most promising electric cars that will arrive in India since the American EV makers also revealed their plans to operate in India. Tesla Model 3 is regarded as a great electric sedan from the World’s valuable automaker. It is the best-selling car all over the globe.
The car is offered in multiple variants and offers a range of up to 534 Km. In addition, this car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. Tesla is quite famous for loading its electric cars with superb high-tech technologies that include an advanced driving system such as Autopilot mode, and many more.
According to the CEO, Tesla Model 3 is expected to arrive in India by the end of 2021 or in the starting month of 2022. The electric sedans are imported from abroad manufacturing plants, which is why they cost around 50 Lakh to 60 Lakh. This price range costs almost twice the actual price.


Tata Altroz Electric Car:


Tata Motors announced the launch of four new electric vehicles in the coming years. It is expected to be one of those upcoming electric cars in India. This electric car was revealed during the Geneva Moter Show in Switzerland.
This upcoming Electric Vehicle for India has a range of 250-300 km on a single charge. Now, for a small hatchback, this kind of range is enough and if you commute a total of 55 Km each day, then on a single charge, the battery of Altroz EV will last you at least 5 days. In addition, according to Tata Motors, the Altroz will take only one hour to charge up to 80 percent.
A variant of this Tata Altroz has made a great impression in the Indian automobile sector. Therefore, we expect Tata Motors will make all the required efforts in maintaining its position. Here, the price of Tata Motors Altroz electric car has not been revealed but one can expect the price to fall between 10-2 lakh range targeting Wagon R electric car.


Nissan Leaf:

It is one of the most famous electric cars in the world that is coming in India. This car is synonymous with environment-friendly vehicles. Now, the car is a pop culture icon being featured in several movies, TV shows, and many more. It was recently spotted testing in India with Maharashtra registered number plate. The car is powered by a 40 kWh battery and can produce 149 PS of power with 320 Nm of torque. Even the Hyundai Kona also uses a similar- version of battery with 45 Km of ARAI-certified ranges.


Hyundai RM20 N

It is one of the upcoming cars that is just-announced Kona N hot crossover. The rumored version of this car will join the near feature with a mid-engine hatchback based on the RM concept. As per the reports, it could have up to 350 horsepower from a turbocharged 2 Liter.


Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Electric Car:

It is a 7 seater car with revised dimensions. Here the different dimensions of the car are compared with conventional Ertiga. The launch of this car confirms that they will be focusing on CNG and hybrid vehicles first while working on electric cars in the background. CNG variant of this Maruti Ertiga is already being offered by the automaker. Here, the company is also working with Toyota Motors Company so that they can develop hybrid vehicles. Apart from that Maruti, Toshiba Corp, and Denso group are taking steps in the same direction to develop a lithium-ion manufacturing plant in Gujrat. Hence, the upcoming Ertiga is meant to provide benefit front he research in this particular plant. Talking about the price factor then it might come under the premium range.
